Rain…Rain

It finally started raining here late this afternoon. The weather forecasters have been talking about it since yesterday. Earlier this evening they issued a severe thunderstorm warning for our area and said that a waterspout was seen off the coast. Also, there could be wind gusts over 60 mph. Well, there was rain and some wind…but no severe thunderstorms. I’m sure that to people from out of town, we must seem like babies. We have some rain and suddenly, there’s “Storm Watch” segments on the local news stations and rain is the leading story….lol. I am glad that we finally got some of the wet stuff though because we sure do need it and I really love the rain. 
Dana, Joshua and Kaylee are coming out here tonight. They’re going to the Marine Corps ball in Vegas, so I get to baby-sit Kaylee….YAY! They’ll spend the night and then drive to Vegas tomorrow and be back on Saturday. It’ll be so much fun having Kaylee here…I can’t wait. 
I just hope that I have enough energy to get me through…lol.
Well, I really don’t have much else to talk about. Think I’ll go watch a little Mythbusters until the kids get here. Hope you’re having a great week! ~hugs~
